How Consent Is Obtained
Customers provide consent to receive SMS messages through the following methods:
Online Opt-In
When creating an account, booking an appointment, or requesting a service through a business's website or application powered by Avolv.ai, customers provide their phone number and check a consent box agreeing to receive text message communications.
Verbal Consent
Customers may provide verbal consent when scheduling appointments or requesting services over the phone with a business. Verbal consent is logged with a timestamp in the Avolv.ai platform.
Keyword Opt-In
Customers can text START or SUBSCRIBE to a business's phone number to opt in to receiving text messages.
All consent is recorded with a timestamp in the Avolv.ai platform for compliance purposes.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the type of communication and the services being provided. Customers typically receive 1-10 messages per month depending on their service schedule and communication preferences. Marketing messages are limited to no more than 4 per month.
Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Avolv.ai does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.
How to Opt Out
To stop receiving text messages at any time, simply reply:
STOP
to any message you receive from us.
After texting STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You may opt back in at any time by texting START.
